VOLUNTEER ECUADOR
We have four options for you:
1. If you are in Quito now you can share
a day of work in our organic garden only Friday morning.
2. If you are in Quito now and have days off, you can help
us in our English lessons for students of our community,
Tuesday or Thursday from 5 to 6 pm.
3. Work in our garden or office for more days (2 to 30)
without accomodation.
4. Work in our garden or office for more days (2 to 30)
with accomodation with a family.
ONE DAY JOURNEY IN OUR ORGANIC GARDEN
Days available:
Fridays (all year)
Number of volunteers:
1 to 10 people
Description of work:
Getting the land ready, planting vegetables (seeds and little plants) and maintain some signs.
Price:
Free
Include:
professional english speaker guide, materials, plants, water and one snack (chocolate, wafers or chips)
Doesn´t include:
extra meals, transportation to the garden, tips
What to bring?:
gloves, cap, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes (sneakers or sport shoes).
Extra services:
We can pick you up in your hotel to transfer you to our garden and bring you back, the cost of this transfer (in-out) is:
Private Transfer (in – out):
25 USD (1-4 people car) or 35 USD (5 to 10 people van) / price per group you need to divide the cost per the number of passengers in the car or van.
Public Transportation:
according to the bus rates, budget 2 USD per person aproximately.
ONE DAY JOURNEY IN OUR ENGLISH PROGRAM
Days available:
Tuesday or Thursday (5:00 – 6:00 PM)
Number of volunteers:
1 to 2 people
Description of work:
tutoring english lessons and helping our students with conversation and develop speaking skills.
Price:
Free
Include:
professional english speaker teacher, materials, and water
Doesn´t include:
transportation to our office, tips
What to bring?:
any special we need only your support.
Extra services:
We can pick you up in Tourism Park in Sangolquí to transfer you by public bus (0.18 USD) to our office.
WORK IN OUR OFFICE AND GARDEN WITHOUT ACCOMODATION
Days available:
June to September (another months according your schedule) minimum 1 month
Number of volunteers:
1 to 15 people
Description of work:
In our office:
- Teach english in our ESL program.
- Planning and development (local diagnostic, proposal elaborations, projects)
- Raising Funds (search for donors and other kinds of financing).
- Web design (development of web site)
- Marketing (strategic alliances and diffusion of actual and potential programs)
- Tourism (development of programs and tourism)
- New programs development.
In the garden:
getting the land ready, planting vegetables (seeds and little plants) and maintain some signs.
Price:
50 USD per month
Include:
professional english speaker guide, internet access (1 hour a day), materials, plants, water, one snack (chocolate, wafers or chips) and home made lunch at the center each day.
Doesn´t include:
extra meals, transportation to our office and garden, tips
What to bring?:
gloves, cap, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes (sneakers or sport shoes), you can bring your laptop to have wireless internet service.
Extra services:
We can pick you up in your hotel to transfer you to our garden and bring you back, the cost of this transfer (in-out) is:

40 USD per day
Include:
accomodation with a family (simple room, private bathroom), breakfast and dinner at family host house, home made lunch at the center each day, use of washing machine (once a week), free use of living room, dinnig room and kitchen, professional english guide with your stay in the country, internet access (3 hours a day), materials, plants, water and one snack (chocolate, wafers or chips), transportation to our office and garden.
