The Otavalo Indians are the most ambitious and prosperous craftsmen/merchants in Ecuador. Ponchos, wooden goods, and Indian jewerly are sold here. After the market we will visit Indian town of Peguche, known for its weavers and Cotacachi, known for its genuine leather work. return to Quito.(In the way to Otavalo we visit Calderon.

COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK & INDIAN MARKET ( 8 HOURS)
In the morning drive south throught the Volcanoes' Avenue. Visit the indian market (Saquisili or Pujili), then continue to the base of the Cotopaxi Volcanoe, the highest active volcano in the world. We will trek till the Jose Rivas Refuge. Return to Quito.

PAPALLACTA THERMALS FOREST (8 HOURS)
We drive along the interoceanic highway to Papallacta. These thermal bathsa are the most attractively developed set hot spring in Ecuador. The hot water is channeled into several swimming pools . return to Quito.

MINDO CLOUD FOREST (8 HOURS)
Depart to the tropical rain forest area of Mindo. Along the way we will stop to enyoj the lanspace and wildlife. This area is especially interesting for its bird life and exotic plant species. Return to Quito.

QUILOTOA LAKE TOUR(9 HOURS)
We depart early in the morning throught the Volcanoes' Avenue to visit the Laguna Quilotoa which is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking, a tranquil, mesmerizing glass-green lake lying in the crater of an extinct volcano. We will walk down from the top of the crater to the lake's edge. Once at the botton of the lake, there isn't much to do other than relax and enjoy the tranquility. Optional Lunch and return to Quito.
ANDES TRAIN & DEVIL'S NOSE(4 DAYS)
1st Day : QUITO - RIOBAMBA: Drive soth via the avenue of the Volcanoes to otopaxi National Park, and the base of the Cotopaxi volcano. Then continue to Riobamba. Overnight accomodations.
2do Day: RIOBAMBA Train INGAPIRCA CUENCA: Departure to the train station to take the 'autoferro' train to Sibambe, passing the famous Devil's Nose mountain. This is a spectacular train ride, gradually descending from the highlands to the lowlands, at time zigzagging. Then continue to the Inca Ruins of Ingapirca and Cuenca.
3er Day: CUENCA : CITY TOUR: After breakfast tour the city of Cuenca. Visit its colonial building, churches, and museums. Time for shopping. Overnight in Cuenca. (End for the 3 day tour with a flight backty to Quito in the afternoon).
4th Day: CUENCA - QUITO: Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Quito.
